Bicentennial Commons at Sawyer Point Park

A favorite among locals is this riverside park which hugs the banks of the Ohio River and features beautiful gardens, plenty of walking trails, picturesque picnic spots and great views of the river. Opened to commemorate the city's 200th birthday, Cincinnati's Bicentennial Commons at Sawyer Point Park is also home to an entertaining history walk utilizing monuments such as the much talked about flying pigs, a reference to the city's meatpacking days.

Burnet Woods

Located near the University of Cincinnati, this park is popular among students for its picturesque surroundings and small lake. Burnet Woods is also home to Wolff Planetarium, the second-oldest planetarium west of the Allegheny Mountains.

Eden Park

Eden Park is an attractive and expansive park that is home to the Cincinnati Art Museum, Cincinnati Art Academy and Krohn Conservatory. A wander through the park will take you past landscaped gardens, lakes, fountains, various monuments and statues, and picturesque gazebos.

Krohn Conservatory

One of the largest public greenhouses in the country and built in 1933, Cincinnati's Krohn Conservatory contains regular floral exhibits as well as palm, tropical, desert, and orchid houses, complete with a rainforest waterfall.
